When someone asks why people do 'bodybuilding' it is as skeptical as asking why get an education. The reply to both the question is to improve oneself. There are also benefits that cannot be measured: self-discipline, esteem of others and self-confidence, because we are often judged primarily on our looks. In simple, the advantages both intangible & tangible far overshadow what minor incontinences there may be of going to the gymnasium & getting sweaty, sore & hot.

The 'Bodybuilding-World' can be a complex one, in particular for a beginner. What type of exercise to do? How many reps? Which routine? How many sets? What to eat? And so on. There is also contradictory info. and diverse methods. Primarily let us not kid ourselves. 'Bodybuilding' is about 'Re-sculpturing' your body to any degree that you wish & is going to take a lot of hard work & determination, nothing in life is easy. The rest is 'common-sense'.

Few things to keep in mind when you do take up bodybuilding.
Primarily, safety must be the main concern, stay within your limits. Having a 6 pack does not need special type of equipment, only the proper diet knowledge is required. Know exact rep & set ranges for muscle growth to maximum. Training sessions of longer period actually reduce results. The 'most-effective' exercises for each muscle group, common shaping movements actually detract from muscle size! Executing exercises in a particular order is vital for success. Improve naturally, boost hormone levels naturally. High-reps do nothing to endorse definition. Control sets accordingly for continued growth. Changeable grips are essential for entire muscular development. 'Aerobics' helps to counteract the anaerobic lifting side & is an effective fat burner. Doing a large number of exercises for a particular muscle group is a pure waste of time & actually limits growth. The correct amount of meals per-day to maximize muscle growth & fat-loss is crucial. The 'Calorie Manipulation' approach can help to control fat levels of body. Large sets & many exercises are a complete waste of time. Each muscle group requires less exercise to produce more muscle! 'Water' in combination with 'Food' produces fuller, larger muscles.
